Information and tips for your stay

Your four-legged friend is very welcome at our dog-friendly campsite! Depending on the season, we charge between 5.00€ and 7.00€ per day for your four-legged friend. Dogs must be kept on a leash throughout the entire site, and we ask for your consideration in designated areas – for example, in the sanitary buildings or common rooms.

To ensure that your camping holiday with your dog is stress-free, we recommend that you get your dog used to camping life before your holiday. Familiar things such as food, a basket, favourite toys and a familiar blanket will help your dog settle in.

Which walks and hikes are suitable for dogs?

There are numerous dog-friendly routes around the campsite. The Alpsee circular walk (approx. 7 km) is particularly popular, taking you along the lake with opportunities for swimming and resting. The Gschwender waterfalls and the panoramic walk to Salmaser Höhe also offer great views and shady sections – ideal in summer.

What else is there to discover in the surrounding area?

Even outside the campsite, the Allgäu region has plenty to offer you and your four-legged friend:

  • The old town of Immenstadt is perfect for a stroll – and is dog-friendly.
  • The Großer Alpsee lake offers refreshment for humans and dogs alike – dogs are allowed to swim outside the designated bathing areas.
  • The Mittagbahn and other mountain railways take you comfortably up to the heights – dogs are allowed to ride, but please note that muzzles are compulsory!
  • Alpine pastures and inns in the area often welcome guests with dogs.
  • Numerous hiking trails start directly at the campsite and lead you through the beautiful Allgäu countryside.

What should be on your packing list for a camping holiday with your dog?

Anyone planning a trip with their beloved four-legged friend can expect colourful moments, unforgettable experiences and unique memories that will last a lifetime. But a successful holiday with your dog in Bavaria starts long before you set off. There is a lot to organise and plan. The first step is to make sure you have the right equipment. In addition to a lead, food and bowls, you should also remember the following items:

  • First aid kit, tick tweezers, cooling mat in summer
  • Favourite toys & food
  • Also helpful: foldable water bowls, dog fences, cleaning kit (hand vacuum cleaner, broom)

Rules at the campsite with dogs

So that everyone feels comfortable

We are delighted that your four-legged friends are also holidaying with us! To ensure that all guests – with or without dogs – feel comfortable, we ask you to be considerate and observe a few simple rules:

Leash requirement: Please keep your dog on a leash at all times throughout the campsite.

Please clean up after your dog: Dog waste must be disposed of in the designated dog toilets or waste bins.

Do not leave unattended: Dogs are not allowed to explore the site on their own.

No dogs in the sanitary area or in communal facilities.

Caution in hot weather: Caravans and motorhomes can heat up quickly in the sun – please never leave your dog unattended, especially in warm weather.

Consideration for other guests: Not all guests love four-legged friends as much as we do – please ensure your dog behaves calmly, especially when children or other animals are nearby.
